The Cast

 

Rachel Bahler(Mother/Queen of Hearts) just got her B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from Michigan and is excited to be a part of Alice! Her favorite roles thus far have been the Witch in Into The Woods, the Countess of Rossillion in All’s Well That Ends Well, and Amneris in Aida. This past year, she was the soloist for both the Michigan Pops Orchestra and the North Carolina Symphony. Thank you to the Alice team and her parents!!!

 

 

 

Joe Chisholm(Mouse/Tweedle Dum) is thrilled to be joining the cast ofAlice.A recent graduate of the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music(CCM) with BFA in Musical Theatre. While at CCM, he was seen as Fredrik in A Little Night Music, Whizzer in Falsettos and more. Favorite shows include the Joseph and the…Dreamcoat, Batboy, Urinetown, Tommy, Rent, Miss Saigon and Avenue Q. Thanks to family and friends for their endless support. www.joechisholm.net

 

 

 

Amanda Choate(March Hare/Cook) is so thrilled to be apart of the new cast of Alice as well as this year’s Midtown International Theater Festival! Regional credits include: Titanic (Kate Mullins), Footloose (Wendy Jo), Hairspray (Shelly). Amanda will be traveling the Mexican Riviera on an upcoming Walt Disney Cruise playing the role of Sid in Toy Story! She is a graduate of the Musical Theater Department at University of Michigan, class of 2010. GO BLUE!!

 

 

 

David R. Gordon(Mad Hatter) is so grateful to be creating with such a talented group of people in Alice.  His recent credits include “Jamie” in Bobby Cronin’s musical Daybreak, as well as Abraham in The DC premiere of Altar Boyz, directed and choreographed by the original Off-Broadway team.  Prior to that, he was seen all over Europe and the Middle East performing the role of Roger in Grease!The Musical. Other favorite roles include Jamie in The Last 5 Years, Bobby Strong in Urinetown, and Man #1 in the West Coast premiere of Edges. Thank you to Erica and Andrew for this opportunity. Love to Ali, family and friends for their endless support!

 

Lizzie Klemperer (White Queen) is a native of Syracuse, New York where she has appeared as a soloist with the Syracuse Opera Company, Syracuse Symphony Orchestra and Syracuse Stage. After graduating from the University of Michigan (BFA Musical Theatre), she travelled to 26 US cities with the 1st National Tour of Little House On The Prairie, The Musical starring Melissa Gilbert. She has performed at The Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center and most recently starred in the award winning musical, Bunked!, at the New York International Fringe Festival.

 

 

 

 

Amanda Gayle Malyar (Dormouse, Frog Footman) is happy to be a participant in this year’s Midtown International Theatre Festival with Alice. She graduated from The Boston Conservatory in 2010, where she appeared in Assassins (Sarah Jane Moore), Man of La Mancha (Housekeeper) and Caryl Churchill’s Cloud 9 (Maud/Victoria). Amanda is an actor in AlcoholEdu®, an online alcohol abuse prevention program used on more than 500 college and university campuses nationwide. She dedicates this one to Morgan, who inspires her every day.

 

 

 

Ashley Dawn Mortensen(Sister) is so excited and blessed to be a part of this production!! Working with Andrew first at a retreat for Bobby Cronin’s musical Welcome to My Life and then getting to sing one of Andrew andLesley’s songs at Lincoln Center in December, this experience for sure will be nothing short of brilliant with their combined talent. Favorite past roles include Liesl in The Sound of Music at Ogunquit Playhouse, Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Fantine in Les Miserables, Polly Baker in Crazy for You and Brooklyn in Brooklyn. Ashley has a BFA from New York University with honors in Drama. I love you Bear!

 

Cameron Perry (White Rabbit) studied at Transylvania University in Lexington, KY where he appeared in a number of department and student-directed productions ranging from Noises Off (Garry/Roger) to Women and Wallace (Wallace).  Other notable credits include Matt in The Fantasticks and Woof in Hair.  Shortly before relocating to NYC, Cameron had the pleasure of working on the feature length film, Red River Moon, in the beautiful mountains of Eastern Kentucky. Cameron recently made his NYC debut in Suzy for President (Rhett).  Cameron dedicates this one to his loving and supportive family, especially his mom. www.cmperry.webs.com

 

 

Patrice Seibel (Duchess) is a University of Michigan graduate whose regional credits include: Shout! The Mod Musical; Smokey Joe’s Cafe; The World Goes Round and Tony & Tina’s Wedding.  Most recently, she performed in Parenting 101 at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, and her short film “Their Eyes Were Watching Gummy Bears” is an official selection at the 2011 LA Comedy Festival.

 

 

Devon Stone(Cheshire Cat/Tweedle Dee) is thrilled to be making his NYC debut with Alice! Devon was recently seen in the 2nd national Tour of Spring Awakening portraying the role of Hanschen. He is a recent Graduate of the Boston Conservatory and would like to thank all the guys at BRS, his Mom, Dad, Whitney, Lily and especially Rocio for all their love and support!

 

 

Rocio Del Mar Valles(Alice) is thrilled for Alice’s NYC debut! She was most recently seen at The Public Theatre for the reading and workshop of Michael John LaChiusa’s newest musical, Giant, directed by Tony-nominee Michael Greif.
